Wikipedia has an entire category of articles about the history of Ireland which I strongly suggest poking through when you have a chance. There are lots of articles about different periods and historical figures of interest.

The entire text of A Concise History of Ireland by P. W. Joyce is available to read for free at LibraryIreland.com.

Giraldus Cambrensis (Gerald of Wales) started the travel guide genre with his Topographia Hibernica (Topography of Ireland), which you can read here. You can also read his Conquest of Ireland here.

Brigham Young University in Utah has compiled a collection of primary source documents about the history of Ireland.

Probably the best website about the Northern Ireland conflict is CAIN, which tells much of the history visually through symbolism and the famous Northern Ireland murals.

The Celtic Place is a small but nice collective of information about Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

IrelandHistory.org is a small but growing website with all sorts of information about Irish history.

Ireland's History in Maps is a great website if you want to visually understand the various stages of Irish history, conquest, reclamation, and growth.
